How to Make a Cute Penguin with Air-Dry Clay — Step-by-Step by Jenna Clays

🧡 Bring Your Clay to Life with Jenna

Let’s sculpt an adorable penguin using Jenna’s soft, air-dry clay! This beginner-friendly tutorial is perfect for kids, crafters, and anyone who loves adding charm to their desk or shelf.

🛠 What You’ll Need:
• Jenna air-dry clay (Black, White, Orange, Pink)
• Sculpting tool or toothpick
• Glue (optional)
• Small brush & water

🐾 Step-by-Step Guide:

Step 1: Shape the Body

Roll a ball of black clay into an oval to form the penguin’s body. Flatten the bottom so it can stand.

Step 2: Add the Belly

Flatten a small white circle and press it onto the front of the body to make the penguin’s tummy.

Step 3: Make the Eyes

Roll two tiny white balls for eyes. Add even tinier black balls for pupils and press gently into place.

Step 4: Craft the Beak and Feet

Use orange clay to make a small triangle for the beak and two flat ovals for the feet. Stick them on with a dab of water or glue.

Step 5: Add Flippers

Take two small black teardrop shapes and attach them to the sides for wings.

Step 6: Make It Blush

Use pink clay or a bit of blush powder to give your penguin rosy cheeks!

🎉 And You’re Done!

Let it dry for 24–48 hours, and your penguin is ready to waddle into your collection. Don’t forget to share your creation with us by tagging @jennaclays on Instagram!
